Hello all!
I've got an older Core2 laptop as secondary, with a GM945 (GMA 950), running Debian 12 stable. Modern Mesa sometimes renders apps with red boxes on this iGPU; sometimes only visual issues, but occasionally making entire apps unusable. (Ancient iGPU, ancient limitations.)
So, I wanted to try the mesa-amber branch, but it's not packaged in Debian. Is it safe to compile and use it on Debian Stable, or would it create a broken FrankenDebian? (And how do I compile it, if safe? I'm not new to linux, but i've not compiled much before; let alone Mesa.)
