Hardware • brother laser printer scanner stopped after upgrade

hello
the brother dcp printer scanner does not work anymore since last kernel upgrade
Linux debian 6.1.0-26-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.112-1 (2024-09-30) x86_64 GNU/Linux

i did try to reinstall "printer-driver-brlaser" without luck
can some one tell me how to make the printer and scanner work ?
