General Questions • [Software] How to use `gnome-remote-desktop` package with VNC support (Debian 12, GNOME, Wayland)?

Hello all,
GNOME Remote Desktop provides RDP as well as VNC for remote sharing.
But it seems, that package `gnome-remote-desktop` support for VNC is not enabled at build time for Debian stable/testing/sid .
I know that RDP provides several advantages over VNC. But in some situations and environments VNC is just more suitable or the only supported alternative.
In my case I'd like to use VNC, as a specific FOSS VNC mobile app provides by far the best user experience with regards to remote control out of all RDP and VNC clients.
Support for VNC in Fedora+GNOME+Wayland can easily be enabled by executing `grdctl vnc enable` over command line interface. But due to various reasons I would like to resort to plain Debian (preferrably stable, but testing/sid is OK, too).

Hence my questions:
1. Is there a package for `gnome-remote-desktop` with enabled build flag for VNC?
2. If not, do I need to manually rebuild this package? Some instructions or guide would be appreciated in this case.
3. Why does Debian limit support for remote desktop sharing software alternatives, if in principle the VNC feature already works (activation via CLI for now)?

Kind regards and thanks for any help.
