Hello, guys! How are you today?
I've tried to upgrade my system and one of the packages that were to upgrade was the Kernel to version 6.10.6 (backports). After trying to upgrade, i got an error that prevents me to proceed any upgrade, since this specific upgrade wasn't complete.
First of all, i had to use backports packages, since i have a GTX 1650 on my laptop and the free kernel versions weren't working with my GPU, so i had to resort to the backports ones.
Here's the last part of the upgradeAs far as i could tell, the problem is with the fact that something wrong happened with an nvidia configuration while trying to upgrade my kernel.
After looking at the make.log as specified on the error message, i came into the output on the file error_gpu.txt and couldn't come to a conclusion of the problem and how to proceed with a solution.
Did any of you guys had any problem with the upgrade? How did you manage to solve (apart from removing the kernel version and switch to an older one)?
Here's my hardware specs
CPU: i5 11th gen
RAM: 16GB
GPU: GTX 1650
For further specs, i attached a file named hardware.txt with the lshw output.
If i need to run any other commands, please let me know!
Thank you in advance for the help!![Wink ;)]()
