Beginners Questions • [Software] Issues installing mailutil when MySQL is installed.

I have MySQL Community running on Debian 12. When I try to install mailutil it breaks the configuration of MySQL. It appears a bunch of config files appear for MariaDB in the /etc/mysql directory. I tried deleting those, but it didn't help.

Has anyone had any luck running MySQL and mailutil side by side?
